Debra West is a RE/MAX Costa Rica Owner with RE/MAX COSTA DEL SOL.

Debra West is a dynamic real estate agent and the driving force behind RE/MAX Costa Del Sol in Dominical, Costa Rica. Debra was born and raised in Alaska, and her adventurous spirit and self-determination have served as the foundation for her incredible life adventure.

Debra acquired her interest in real estate investing at the age of 19, when she purchased her first three parcels overlooking Eagle River, Alaska. Her enterprising zeal quickly prompted her to start her own accounting firm, specializing in fraud detection, serving small businesses, and continuing to invest in residential properties in Anchorage.

Debra’s assets grew to include aviation hangars in Denver and residential properties in Keystone, Colorado, once her son transferred to Boulder for college. Debra embraced early retirement and spent time in Colorado and Alaska before discovering the charming hamlet of Dominical in Costa Rica. Her investment in the area was big enough that she chose to relocate to Costa Rica to manage her operations.

Recognizing the potential of the Dominical real estate market, Debra founded one of the most southern RE/MAX franchises in Costa Rica, the fourth in the country, helping to expand the RE/MAX network.

Debra’s real estate portfolio is impressive, having participated in over fifty personal transactions. Her adventurous spirit extends beyond real estate; she has participated in ski racing, skydiving (with current world records), scuba diving, fishing, and 4X4 excursions. Debra is also a superb pilot, having flown her plane across North America and even to Grand Cayman from Alaska.

Debra is the proud mother of two sons and the grandmother of two grandsons and one granddaughter. Her life exemplifies living life to the fullest, with a strong sense of adventure and a dedication to success in the real estate market.
