Dave West is a respected real estate specialist at RE/MAX Costa Del Sol in Dominical, Costa Rica, who brings a wealth of diversified experience and a passion for outdoor adventures to his work. Dave’s adventure began as a military dependent, living in many locales around the United States and France, instilling in him a sense of adaptability and appreciation for different cultures.

Dave left the US Navy after six years of service as a guided-missile system technician to pursue a civilian career in Denver, Colorado. He worked at Mountain Bell, subsequently known as US WEST, and retired as a Project Director. In this capacity, he was in charge of important introductions of new communication technologies and oversaw installation projects of communication and computing equipment in huge building sites and complexes spanning a 14-state region.

Dave’s personal life took a lovely turn when he met Deb, and they set out on a retirement trip full of travel and fun adventures. Their travels took them to Costa Rica, where Deb’s discovery of Dominical encouraged Dave to become a partner in RE/MAX Costa del Sol Properties.

Dave is a passionate outdoor enthusiast who has spent his entire life participating in hobbies such as running, waterskiing, and snow skiing. He is still actively involved in these activities not only in Dominical, but also in Colorado and Alaska, where he currently lives. Dave’s educational background includes a graduation from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, followed by post-graduate study at Denver University as an older adult.

Dave’s personal life is enriched by his two children and three granddaughters, who bring happiness and meaning to his experiences. Dave West is a tremendous asset to the RE/MAX Costa Del Sol team and his clients looking to experience Costa Rica’s splendor. He is committed to excellence and has a deep enthusiasm for life.
